We had A LOT of fun on #ReadABookDay – how could we not; it’s part of the job description and for most of us reading is also a life-long passion. Warwickshire Library staff were busy posting throughout the day (06/09), below are just a few of our favourite pics in-case you missed them.

“Perfect for #readabookday: Virginie recommends “Dear Ijeawele” by Chimanda Ngozi Adiche. A quick and powerful read!

And when you have more than a day to read, don’t miss the brilliant “Americanah” by the same talented writer.”

“Hard day at the office!! 😋 #readabookday warwickshire.gov.uk/libraries #getbacktowork”

“Kate at #LeamingtonLibrary recommends Don’t Stop Me Now by Vassos Alexander and Get Running by Matt Roberts on national #readabookday. Matt’s book helped Kate learn how to get from couch to 5k, this weekend she’ll be running the Great North Run. Have you ever read anything that inspired you to start a new hobby?”

” “I don’t usually read crime but I picked this up at #LeamingtonLibrary and was hooked. I’ve now read all of her books and am waiting for her to write the next one”. Try a new genre for #readabookday and you might just be surprised. “
