Kenilworth U3A group have also reviewed The Photograph by Penelope Lively.
They think it is a good book for reading groups, which led to plenty of discussion. It was easy to read and is well-written. It was built up of complex layers and the characters were believable, if not very likeable. The would recommend it, and thought overall, that it was very good.
Bishop’s Group in Wellesbourne have reviewed The Paris Wife by Paula McLain
It was thought to be a good book generally, and it provoked interest in the manners and morals of the period, and also interest in books by Hemingway. They would recommend it, as there is not much known about that period in Hemingway’s life.
