The 36 attendees, many of whom were previous Healey employees, were treated to an extremely interesting presentation covering the collection which Warwickshire County Record Office with the help of funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and other generous donations has purchased and is now cataloguing and restoring.
Among aspects brought to life through oral history presentations were working on the cars and designs, the experience of driving and the dangers of working at the Le Mans pits before Health and Safety became so important.
New contacts willing to share their involvement with Healey are being sought through the exhibition which will be on display at various Warwickshire Libraries in the county until the middle of July 2017. Find an event.
